Tarangire National Park, located in Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region, is a sight to behold, with jagged granite mountains, vast stretches of river, slices of lush vegetation, and sweeping plains. Massive herds of elephants slowly meander through the pastures, and groups of friendly animals such as eland, zebra, buffalo, gazelle, impala, and others mingle with one another in the serenity that surrounds the watering holes. During your extensive safaris in Tarangire, you will encounter animals and birds of all shapes, sizes, and colors as you travel off the beaten path, along trails winding through the mountains and across dirt tracks only accessible by 4×4. You might come across animals like oryx and gerenuk that are rarely seen elsewhere, as well as marvel at the majesty of the towering baobab trees that dot the park’s vast stretches of land.

The Origins of Man in the Ngorongoro Crater
Before the sun rises, you’ll leave camp with your ranger in the hopes of seeing lions and leopards hunting in the early hours of the morning. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village, where you will learn about the fascinating local culture through generations-old traditional performances, before continuing to the Olduvai Gorge, a historical landmark destination with fossils dating back to the dawn of humanity.
6th day
Serengeti National Park – The World’s Greatest Show
Apart from the fascinating animals that live in the Serengeti’s rolling savanna, the region is known for hosting the world’s greatest natural spectacle. Thousands of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and other animals migrate across the savannah every year in search of greener pastures. During this episode, you may be fortunate enough to see lion prides and wild dog packs chasing after herds racing across the Serengeti if you visit at the right time of year.
7th day
Serengeti National Park – Day and Night Serengeti Searching
Aside from the Great Migration, the Serengeti offers incredible wildlife sightings, which you’ll be thrilled to see on your morning and afternoon game drives today. The untouched wilderness is yours to explore at great lengths during your stay in the Serengeti, from catching the early hunters in action before the sun has peeked its head beyond the horizon to witnessing nocturnal beings in their natural night-time habitats in the evening. These safari memories will last a lifetime, and they’ll be perfectly captured in the photos you take along the way.
8th day
Serengeti National Park – Serengeti Stargazing
Enjoy your final full day at leisure, slowly taking in the sights stretching out from your lovely campsite’s terrace.
