Day by Day Itinerary - Explore Tanzania Safari 6 days
Day One, Arrival
At Kilimanjaro Airport, the group arrives (JRO). A representative from Nature Expert Adventure greets the participants and transports them to a lodge in Arusha. Our tour guide will arrive later for a briefing on the tour, depending on your arrival time.
Tarangire, Day 2
Your safari guide will arrive at the camp/lodge after breakfast (around 7:30 a.m.) and inform the receptionist that he is waiting for you. You’ll meet up with your driver and travel to Tarangire National Park, where you’ll be on your first safari by 10:00 a.m. Many wild Tanzanian animals (lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, etc.) can be seen in this park, but it is best known for its incredible number of elephants, who typically stay close to their drinking source, the Tarangire River.
Because this is wild nature, the guide cannot guarantee the presence of specific wild animals, but you can rest assured that he will do everything in his power to find everything you’re looking for! The drivers of the Nature Expert Adventure team have their own radio channel, which they use to communicate with other guides and collaborate on rare species searches. You will be served a meal at lunchtime, after which the safari will continue. You will be transferred to your tented camp/lodge in the evening.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Serengeti’s central region to begin your safari (also called Seronera). Your driver will search for the animals that you are most interested in. You will visit the Serengeti Visitor Center closer to lunchtime, where you will be given a lunchbox and given a wealth of information not only about the animal populations, but also about the history of the National Park. Hyraxes, the elephant’s closest relatives, can also be seen in this area. Elephants, buffalo, ostriches, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, lions, antelopes, leopards, and cheetahs are just a few of the thousands of animals that can be found in the Serengeti valley. Just keep your eyes peeled and enjoy the scenery. You will be transferred to a tented camp/lodge in the evening, where you will be served dinner and have the opportunity to rest.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll go on a safari through the park’s eastern and southern sections. The majority of these areas are savannas with wide open spaces, which means there’s a good chance you’ll see cheetahs hunting antelopes.
Ngorongoro Crater (Day 5)
It is best to leave the camp/lodge as early as possible on this day in order to see the variety of animals that are only active in the morning; breakfast will be packed in lunchboxes specifically for this purpose. You’ll leave at 6:30 a.m. for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and you’ll be inside the crater in about an hour. Ngorongoro is one of Tanzania’s most well-known and fascinating national parks, with the greatest number of different animal species per square kilometer. Buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippopotamuses, and feline species such as caracals and servals will all be present. The most fortunate travelers may even see a rhinoceros, an endangered species whose numbers are rapidly dwindling. By lunchtime, you’ll be at the lake’s edge, where you’ll be offered lunchboxes before continuing your safari. The safari will end in the evening, and you will return to your Arusha lodge.

Rest in the lodge before being driven to the airport.
